Paximadakia with sardine dip

3-4 salted sardines or anchovies

½ cup vinegar

3 slices stale bread

8-10 almonds

1 spoonful capers

1 bunch of parsley

1 spoonful lemon zest

1 egg yolk (hard boiled)

4 spoonfuls olive oil

a little pepper

1 spoonful vinegar

 

 

Soak sardines in the vinegar for 1 hour and rinse with the same vinegar to get rid of salt. Remove bones and place in the blender along with the remaining ingredients. Stir until the mixture becomes creamy.
